EG's Chris Cognac to appear on Iron Chef

Chris, please don't forget to let us know when the shows are actually airing. I presume they'll tell you when you're there what the air dates will be.

Go get 'em! It'll be interesting to see someone I know understands food do the judging for once. I've often thought their choices for judges were questionable at best.

There are a number of them that I am particularly curious to see because I am familiar with the chefs' work. It is nice to see Roberto Donna getting another chance.

Julie Powell?

Hey, they didn't ask me or Steven to judge! Maybe we'd better ask you guys to stop ripping Food Network a new one on a continiual basis then.

It's more likely that we'll keep ripping them a new one until they do

Would you do it if they asked?

I don't know about Steven, but I would, just for the experience.

Interesting, in another thread Chris said his episodes are airing in October...  I'll watch tonight...who's in this battle?

Hmmm. Tonight is Batali vs. Besh, confirmed on TVGuide. Upthread claimed that was the one Chris Cognac was judging.

I just have had no luck posting here this year! I'm going to go away and shut up.

Edit:Well, we all know what happens when you "Assume"... and after looking upthread I did just that. It doesn't say Cognac is judging the Batali v Besh... just that this is the first new battle this season. My apologies.
