French food items are prizes in UNICEF fundraising effort for Kashmir quake victims

Our member Pim, under General food topics, has posted a thread about her effort, as part of the “Menu for Hope,” to raise money for the UNICEF fund for victims of the Kashmir earthquake. Because many persons may see only the French Forum and because some of the prizes are fine French food items specifically of interest to us, I asked her to list them. They include:

a food basket from Paris, with the usual suspects like Foie Gras and confiture etc, a food basket from Gascony, with artisanal specialties from the region, tea from Mariage Freres, tea and Herme pastry with Clotilde (celeb blogger), book and Berthillon ice cream with David Lebovitz, Michel Cluizel chocolates, and also an itinerary specifically prepared for the raffle winner by our Louisa, blogger/fixer extraordinaire.

For more information please go to A Menu for Hope II

If you wish - here’s where to donate now. The drive closes Christmas Eve.
