Le Creuset outlet North of seattle?

Somebody recently mentioned that they thought there was a LeC outlet store somewhere north of seattle. I thought the nearest one was down in Oregon. Anyone know anything about this? It's not on the LeC website, but they could be behind the times...

Yes there is one - I think it is up near the new outlet malls (near the Tualalup (sp) casino). I knew exactly where at one time but it slips my mind at this moment - I remember reading about it this past summer. I am sure someone out here in the PacNW will have better info than me on this - but I can confirm that we have one.

It's at the Seattle Premium Outlet mall adjacent to the Tulalip Casino, exit 202 on I-5. I was just there this past Saturday, and the prices were higher than I paid at TJ Maxx for similar "seconds," but they had more colors.

Yes, it's there, right in the mall at Tulalip (just north of the casino). Good prices and it seems like a "real" outlet-most outlet stores these days carry cheap stuff made just for the outlet, but the Le Creuset store has seconds, scratched items, etc for really low prices. They also have their "regular" (non-seconds) items, too.

My boyfriend was up there last weekend and reported back that every item in the store was 25% off-I'm not sure how long this sale was to last.

My experience is that TJ Maxx is fairly hit-or-miss. There are generally a few pieces of Le Creuset at any given time, but once in a while they offer a bigger selection. New stock is put out on Tuesday evenings at the Northgate store, so midweek visits are worthwhile.

Also noticed that Whole Foods has several Le Creuset open stock pieces at 50% off this week.

Funny. I was just there a few days ago at the one in Edmonds, and there were NONE. A few weeks previous, there were several round and oval dutch/french ovens in various colors. I think the word is out!

If it's anything like Tuesday Morning & Marshalls, where you also find the seconds fairly often it is a hit or miss thing. Marshall's at least also has Staub seconds, and TM had a bick stack of LeC when I was there 2 days ago...

Thanks for the info re the outlet mall up north. I'm hoping the additional presence of a Coach store will be enough to convince my friend we need to stop on the way home from the Opera :biggrin:

The bargain room at City Kitchens usually has some Le Creuset in there. Mostly discontinued colors. Also they deeply discount during their sales and the prices are much lower than the outlet stores and TJ Maxx etc.

I've asked everyone for City Kitchens gift certificates for Christmas. That January sale is coming right up! :raz:
