Antoine Westermann

I don't remember seeing this mentionned yet, but perhaps I missed it.

This week's Zurban mentionned that Antoine Westermann is set to take over Le Drouant. It says that it should be open by the end of this year/early 2006. Anthony Clemont, presently at Mon Vieil Ami, will be in the kitchen.

Does anyone have more details?

Yes. The decoration will be redone to a contemporary style similar to Mon Vieil Ami, but the cuisine will be a notch higher, as will the service. But they don't quite want to make it a pricy gastro.

Will the name remain the same and the Prix Goncourt still be awarded there?

As far as I know, the name is for the moment unchanged. As for continuing the Goncourt tradition, I have no idea, but can ask...
