European-Style Chocolate & Confectionary Boxes

Hello to the EGullet community. I own a small artisanal chocolate company, and I'm in search of a good supplier of custom European-style candy boxes. Currently I'm covering 2-pc boxes by hand; very pretty but it just takes up too much time. [Time I'd rather spend making chocolate!] I'd like to find a supplier who can furnish the hot-stamped box, candy pads, candy trays (blisters) and custom-stamped ribbon.

The level of quality I'm looking for is similar to what you would find in La Maison du Chocolat boxes.

Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks in advance!

I have been using www.packagenakazawa.com. The boxes are really simple and classy. They come with plastic blisters and tissue papers. They are a little hard to figure out how to fold though. I got a shipment of boxes with no instructions on how to put the scored peices of cardboard together. It took a couple of hours, but now I can fold them with my eyes shut!

I work in production for advertising agencies and have done my share of packaging. I can add two things:

First, I use these guys in Richmond, VA for a lot of my specialty boxes. I don't know if you are looking for something custom, but they have always been good for me. I have used them for a lot of custom packaging through the years. Even though they are mostly for direct mail, they will custom produce anything you want.

Secondly, one of our clients a few years back was a restaurant chain for whom we designed a label for their barbeque sauce that was sold retail (don't ask -- it was a national chain restaurant and the sauce was nothing to write home about). I do know that you need to use FDA approved food safe inks and glues for food products and labels. I thought it was kind of stupid considering the fact the most people aren't inclined to lick sauce off the label of a bottle to the extent that he or she would ingest enough ink to be an issue, but hey, it's the FDA.

Yes, I've heard of Package Nakazawa, and they have a lot of interesting options. Thanks for the suggestion.

Here's another vote for Package Nakazawa.  They have beautiful packaging.

One more company with exquisite packaging is KMM Product Inc

      Hello! I'm fairly new to this site so I don't know if my search was weak. I'm trying to find a way to make Mandarin orange puree at home, but I couldn't find anything even similar in the forum. I am a home cook, but I have been making chocolate bonbons and other confections for over 4 years (intermitantly). It is too expensive for me to purchase this online- not because of the price of the puree, but the cost of shipping makes it prohibative. The recipes I've seen online are all differant and don't seem to be what I need. 
      I would love any help with this! I look forward to hearing and learning from those who have much, much more experience than me. Thanks!

      Help! I am an amateur and make chocolate truffles, bonbons, and caramels for friends and family. I made some soft caramel for filling molded bonbons. The flavor and consistency are fine, but the caramel is filled with bubbles. I don't know how to get the air bubbles out, and am concerned using it in my molded chocolates. I would like to know if it is okay to use. I have been making confections for about four years and this is the first time this has happened. I would really appreciate any help! I'm new to the forum and don't know anyone yet.

      I am making molded bunnies for Easter and I am finding that the
      necks are cracking and the head breaks away from the body. I have noticed that the neck is not as thick as the rest of the bunny. Total grams for this bunny is 200.
      Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this? Oh yeah I didn't mention that after pouring into molds I place in the refridgerator.
      Any suggestions are welcome!

      I couldn't think of a better way to word that! 
       
      I'm experimenting with adding a very small amount of cocoa butter decoration onto bars I'm making and am not sure whether I should heat the moulds up with a hair dryer as I would for completely bare moulds or just abandoning this step. I would avoid blowing directly onto where the cocoa butter is as much as possible. Thoughts?
