Where to find teff grain in NYC?

Hi all! Just discovered Ethiopian cuisine, and wanted to make injera and teff at home. I was hoping there was a place in NYC to buy, so that I could avoid buying over the web. Anyone know where teff grain can be purchased in the five boroughs? Thanks in advance! --Janet

Maybe the West African Grocery on Ninth Avenue in the 40s - 50s? They have stuff from all over Africa, not just the west. And it's a great place to poke around, anyway.

And you could try the usual suspects -- Kalustyan in Manhattan, Sahadi in Brooklyn.

(I had an Ethiopian cook working for me once, but she bought 50 or 100 pounds at a time, over the net.)

Thanks for the tip - I checked the Grand Central website, and they don't have anything (at least listed on the web).

But Kalustyan is a good idea, and I didn't know about the place on the West side...!

If I find it, I'll let everyone know where it is (I figure for me, a 1 lb bag would suffice...!)
