Is Pret-a Manger still around?

There's one in the concourse at Rockefeller Center. And I believe one on 7th Ave in the Garment District. Not sure about others

I've always thought of Katz's Deli as a Single-Item food place.

Is Pret-a Manger still around? I remember reading an article awhile back about how the Brit chain wasn't as well received here and about a famous pastry chef leaving her restaurant to consult for them...Claudia Flemming??

Yes, I recall that, but hasn't Fleming since left them already?

Just went to Cupcake Cafe on 29th and 9th, small and large white and chocolate cake with chocolate and vanilla frosting and sculpted flowers on top. Sturdy little cakes with real buttercream. Yeah, there are a few donuts on the bottom shelf (and a bathroom to die in), but they shouldn't disqualify.

Also speaking of Rubens Empanadas i went there for breakfast this morning.. And although they have breakfast empanadas, i opted for a spicy meat and a 1chili empanada.. They were both really good, i just think the place is made expensive.. 3.5 for an empanada. I dont know, i just spent 7 and am looking for something else to eat.
