Charbay distills Rum!

I'm just thumbing through our current copy of Cheers and got to the occasional Cheers spirit tasting page.

The blurb from that page (Plotkin's Picks):

Domaine Charbay in Napa Valley, California is widely acclaimed as one of the finest distilleries in the world.  The family-operated firm recently released two exceptional sprits, CHARBAY RUM and CHARBAY TAHITIAN VANILLA BEAN RUM.  Both are triple-distilled in alembic Charentais pot stills from a proprietary blend of Hawaiian and Caribbean sugar cane syrup.  The spirits have substance, expansive bouquets and are loaded with delectable flavors.  As on would expect from handcrafted, artisan sprits, they both hahve long, memorable finishes.

I love those folks at Charbay.

Cheers!

Let me begin by writing that I haven't tried CharBay rum, but I did drink some of their whisky a few years ago and it was fantastic. I have a lot of faith in their talents and look forward to drinking anything they make.
