WTN: 2003 Estancia Pinot Grigio California

2003 Estancia Pinot Grigio California - Pale gold in color. The nose is fruity and floral, showing some lemon, pear, green apple, and some flowers. Flavors pretty much mimic the nose with the pear and green apple, but there is also a little bit of peach. A citrusy acidity, with a fruit-driven finish. A little more viscous on the tongue than an Italian Pinot Grigio, and not as crisp...you can tell it is from California. A very simple summer sipper.
