Oh dear.  What kind of hat?

I think a Viking hat would be particularly lovely.

Bring it on babee!

alanamoana, we'll tell you where and when. Any scheduling you want to tell us about? I'm thinking a week from Saturday.

It *is* Halloween time, a Viking hat would be easy to come by. :hmmm:

Maybe HWOE will let you borrow his dork hat -- from Minnesota, teal and purple, with earflaps.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Oo...oo...ooo! Or a bright orange hunter's hat with earflaps. Since we're on the hunt for some tasty meat and all...

Now, I do have an orange cap. A friend gave it to me when I was planning on moving to the woods. She didn't want me to get shot.

Of course you didn't, elyse; you're too much of a lady!!!

you must not know her well enough.

Wink emoticon, herb!

don't know that i know you well enough to wink at you either.

plus, it doesn't really look like a wink to me. more like wrinkling your nose.

Herb aka "herbacidal"

it doesn't even *have* a nose.

true. more exactly it looks like the rest of your face would look like when you're wrinkling your nose.

I've never thought it looked much like a wink. The mouth looks like Dick Cheney's version of a smile.

Big time.

Yes, it's definitely more of a smirk.

And why don't we have a lip-smacking icon? This is a food forum, after all. In the meantime, guess I have to keep using this guy ---> :9

EDIT: lip, not lick
