Santa Teresa 1796

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Ed for his informative piece on ministryofrum.com on Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera. It looks as though this rum is now being marketed across the US - I got a bottle from Beekman Liquors in New York, who told me it's been a huge success since they introduced it a month ago.

I find it has a rich aroma and subtle vanilla taste, with very smooth finish (although I'm not very good a writing tasting notes!!). I got it for $32, putting it in the Pampero price range, to which I think it compares well. I'd be interested what others think of it.....
