Called 5 points today and asked them to fax me their menu and they said they would not?!!! Couldn't believe it. I'm thinking of bring a party of abot 10 here and they won't fax me a menu? Then I asked if she could describe the menu, and she replied that it changes daily. I then asked what today's menu was and she refused to tell me that?!!! Makes me not want to go here ever, but I have read nothing but glaring reviews on the food here. Although 90% of the reviews are for the Sunday Brunch, so I'm wondering the following:

1. Does anyone know where to find a sample menu online, or can anyone post a sample menu that has eaten dinner here.

2. Those that have eaten dinner here, can you give a quick review and your thoughts on the setting, food, service, etc.

I'd call and tell the manager about your experience. Better yet, call the manager and tell him you decided to go somewhere else because of the bad treatment.

Hmm, I wonder if she's related to the hostess who refused to fax Kim WB a wine list. The question I would have in mind would be "When I arrive at the restaurant, will I be allowed to see the menu?"

Not an excuse for rudeness, but maybe they do not have a fax machine? Still a good idea to tell the management about the bad treatment tho'

I don't think you need anyone's thoughts on their service Stan You already got that.

I would have thought that if this was the highest rated place in the world and they were charging $5 a head, you still wouldn't want to go. There are just so many great places to go to in New York, I can't think why you would want to give this place a second chance. Sure that may be tough on what could be a good business with one lousy member of staff, but hey ... life is tough in the service industry.

I've been there 2 times. I was very unimpressed. I think it's very overrated. One good dish though, baked pasta with 3 cheeses. I really can't remember much of what I ate. How's that for making an impression.

Five Points serves what I think is the best brunch in NYC. Great food, great drinks, fun setting.

That said, I've been to dinner there once and was decidedly underwhelmed.
