Nope.

Have at it Suzi! Enjoy!

Though, having been corrupted by the eG PMS Support Group, I now have to go to the gym.

I signed up with 2 galpals on Tuesday, and it sounds like we'll be starting on Thursday. Wah!!!

I think I need more cookie dough.

thanks milady-

i also am a gym rat - though now i have to give it a break. after having an amazing lamb sandwich at An American Grill here in nj i came home and slipped on some black ice - nothing broken but am on anti-inflamataries and pain killers - hopefully i will be back at LEAST for aerobics later this week.

i have found when i do the gym 3-6 days per week my period is much less severe and the cravings are a bit less. unfortunately for three months out of the year i am standing around counting migrating raptors rather than working out - it does affect you!!!

I succumbed.

Let me tell you, there's an even better way of eating Korova Cookie dough, and that's hot, gooey and chockful of melted chocolate chips.

See, I keep a batch of the dough in the freezer for emergencies. And I had a craving for a melted, gooey Mars bar--which does not exist in the House.

So I nuked the dough... voila! It's warm and comforting, rich and gooey, sweet and salty, and it's got chocolate! What else could you ask for?

Nuked dough! OMG! I can almost taste it now!

Another hulking male...

I've definitely had days like this... Geez, I wish men could have PMS too, it would give me an excuse for so many of my glutfests.   Actually I'm convinced that males do have hormone peaks that cause food cravings; at least some of us. Why else would I wake up some mornings with a desire to start the day with the rest of the brownies I made the day before, and pretty much continue that way through the day? :) And wanting or not wanting chocolate is especially variable, but when I want it, it just keeps calling...

Maybe you do?

Keeping this OT - what I ate yesterday:

1 piece of greyere, balsamic glazed onion and tomato pie

Varying spoonfuls of:

Duck Larb

Beef Larb

Crispy Duck Pet Pet

Noodles with Squid

Golden Bags

Fish Cakes

Pra Ram Long Song

Black Sesame Dumplings in Ginger Syrup

Glasses of: 3 types of Reisling (2 recent - 1 sweet, 1 not - 1 1971) and 1 italian sparkling dessert wine

1 bar of Kinder Bueno

(Thank god I ran 4 miles! )

Eating pizza with a fork and knife is like making love through an interpreter.

Hmm... What should I have for a midnight snack today....

I've been doing the 1200 calories a day thing for about 6 weeks now (except last Saturday) and I'm about fed up with it. I don't know why I didn't think that PMS would derail me. I want a goddamn breakfast sandwich!!! A greasy one with bacon and oozy eggs and cheese and butter... this yogurt is not cutting it!

I would just like to say that between the jamon iberico, the coffee (awesome) and the chocolate, Spain is an excellent place to have PMS.

K

Basil endive parmesan shrimp live

Lobster hamster worchester muenster

Caviar radicchio snow pea scampi

Roquefort meat squirt blue beef red alert

Pork hocs side flank cantaloupe sheep shanks

Provolone flatbread goat's head soup

Gruyere cheese angelhair please

And a vichyssoise and a cabbage and a crawfish claws.

Hmph! Bragger :raz:

Today is a new low. Puffy Cheetos, peanut butter M&Ms (from the freezer) and Ditet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. And it isn't even lunch time yet. I'll probably skip that and work straight thru.

a marvelous thread!

Fat, salt, & crunch. 'til the ache in my stomach approaches the level the cramps will cause the next day.

Anything deep fried, especially if it can be dipped in something salty and fatty.

All washed down with Kahlua and milk in vast quantity.

Those baked pretzel /kiss / m&m things sound very dangerous.

Thanks to hormonal fallout from my 6mo son, I have been PMS free since December 2004!

However, I anticipate this will change shortly as hormones readjust.

In the meantime, here's something I crave all the time -- chocolate cake.

My neighbor made me a killer chocolate cake, and I just had to post a little food porn for everyone here.

Gratuitous shot of gorgeous baby near lovely birthday cake:

Mmmmm on a plate:

And in case you're inclined to bake it link.

Check out the furry mound atop the cake...

It seems someone is eyballing that dense, chocolatey goodness. Could we make him the newest PMS Cravings thread member? :raz:

Actually, that's my 3yo daughter behind the cake with a gift bow on her head. Baby Dax is far too young (and toothless) for cake of any kind! Madeleine, however, was very into the whipped cream that didn't get photographed. Wonder what she'll crave when she comes of age...

That's one beautiful mother and baby, bavila.

The cake--it's enormous!  How high was it, approximately?

Well aren't you all just too sweet!

I'd say the cake was about 8-9" in height.

Edit: Oops! That should be 5-6".

I have been eating around 1400 calories for 3 months and lost 12 pounds - but as said above I was derailed and brought down on Sunday. I spent most of the day denying my need specifically for a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. I combed the mall ignoring the cookies, the lattes, cinnamon rolls, etc., but they did not call to me like the cupcake. Finally I found myself at the grocery store that afternoon and I casually checked out the baked goods (not gourmet but not an option at this point) but they only came in packs of 6. Darn. I could not do this to myself. I went down the bread aisle and saw Suzie Q's lurking on the shelf! I grabbed the Suzie Q - tore into the package in the car and breathed a sigh of great relief. It surely helped. I tossed the second half into the trash in the parking lot. But for that moment it really helped. Thanks for listening.
