Getting one restaurant recognized by James Beard is pretty special!  So its really impressive to do it twice!  There are many more out there who are better qualified to give you the accolades you deserve, Rob, but I definitely want to extend my congratulations!

Came here hoping someone better with words than I am had already shared the news because I was gonna take a, probably clumsy, stab at it if not. Congrats Rob!

It's kinda like wrestling a gorilla... you don't stop when you're tired, you stop when the gorilla is tired.

"There is no sincerer love than the love of food."  -George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman, Act 1

Gene Weingarten, writing in the Washington Post about online news stories and the accompanying readers' comments: "I basically like 'comments,' though they can seem a little jarring: spit-flecked rants that are appended to a product that at least tries for a measure of objectivity and dignity. It's as though when you order a sirloin steak, it comes with a side of maggots."

I sure miss having the time to be active in eG :( But I knew my long-time friends would have heard the news. So many learnings to get to this point, and many have asked me the difference between this and the one from New Mexico. I promise I'll post something as soon as I can. Thank you all so much!
