Too early for dinner and too late for lunch! Another tray bake/sheet pan meal.  Potatoes, frozen green beans and pork tenderloin. The tenderloin was doused with a mixture of soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, smoked paprika, minced garlic and oil. I fitted a small roasting pan inside a slightly larger roasting pan so tenderloin could bathe while the potatoes and beans stayed dry. Plating is not my forte.

Now that we've given thanks for what we have, it's time to start making our lists for what we want. 🙂  We had Thanksgiving with my nephew and his family.  We rotate where we will have it each year but I usually make one just for us the next day for "leftovers" but Charlie has had a couple staying with us for the last few days, so as soon as I got back home, I started making dinner for us to have with them.  Actually I had been making stuff days ahead to finish up all at once.  I only had time to take a picture of the turkey and some chicken wings I made yesterday. They were an Hawaiian recipe.

@Duvel's chili dogs had me jonesing for a hot dog. Had Costco Polish Beef Weiners in the freezer, a couple of small buns, and some Cavendish tater wedges = supper.
I Iove raw onions on mine. Hubby just likes sweet & spicy mustard.

Had to use up some bags of berries in the freezer to make room for the Xmas prime rib roast I picked up yesterday at our Co-Op grocery. I also had one more package of pastry in the freezer, so I made a berry pie.
If you're familiar with Burton Cummings of the band, The Guess Who, you'll be able to fill in the blanks in the following lyrics to know what kind of berries I used 😉

APO chicken thigh, leftover sweet potato, peas, Bineshii Ghost.  All to perfection.  Eighteen pictures, not one near focus.  Curse you, demon rum.

Dessert was a different story...

I likely don’t qualify as a kid but with a dinner like that I can absolutely act as one!

Photos by DH, components of our Thanksgiving meal: turkey breast, mushroom dressing/stuffing, jellied cranberry sauce (by demand) sprouts, carrot salad. Not shown: gravy and twice-baked potatoes. And wine.

For once, I have not too many leftovers. Child B took home a good collection of them.

I overcooked the turkey a bit; been a while since I roasted one that small (11 pounds), and I guess I was calculating on a bigger one. Beyond that, we pigged out on everything, but the hit of the evening was the 10-year-old granddaughter's "mud pie," from a recipe in one of her Amelia Bedelia books. Coconut cake was a hit, as well.

Beautiful dining room.  My Mom has a chest kind of like yours in her living room.  It is from her grandmother's house.  I love the old door.  The food looks good too!  😀

And I love your lighting fixture!  Off topic I guess, but my husband and I are doing some renovations (eventually, if the materials ever come in haha), so I have lighting fixtures on my mind as it is one of the only things left that I need to pick out.

No pictures from Thanksgiving, but here is Wednesday.  I made a stir fry.  My husband ordered some big ribeye steaks and a turkchetta (which I promptly stuck in the freezer to deal with some other time) from Heritage Foods, and they threw in a package of free pork tenderloin medallions.   I used those to make dinner for my husband and niece using the pork, some bok choy, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms--plus the usual garlic/ginger/cilantro.

My sister and I do not like pork other than bacon, so I made ours with a chicken breast half to share.

That mushroom tart looks fabulous. I'd like to see if I make a gluten free version of it. Could you please provide a recipe?

Sure!

The original recipe site seems to no longer be working so I searched further and this recipe is exactly like it.

Cow-based turkey - aka tri-tip.  Cooked SV then seared. Served with a combo of store-bought sweet-potatoes in brown sugar that were way too sweet so cut with fresh-baked sweet potato.

Um are any of the men here single?? 😂

I have leftovers for days. My aunt spatchcocked the Turkey which came out well. When I mentioned knowing about it the whole table stared at me. I told them this isn’t a new thing.

Granted I don’t cook for myself so I told them about EG.
