A fun graphic article in the New York Times

Gene Weingarten, writing in the Washington Post about online news stories and the accompanying readers' comments: "I basically like 'comments,' though they can seem a little jarring: spit-flecked rants that are appended to a product that at least tries for a measure of objectivity and dignity. It's as though when you order a sirloin steak, it comes with a side of maggots."

Interesting that Pizza Moto now uses compressed sawdust bricks to fire its wood burning oven. I actually think Luigi's in Park Slope has one of the best slices around. It's a classic slice shop.

We really like the pizza being made at Pasquale Jones (in Little Italy!) these days. Wood burning oven using cordwood. They, too, have a double wide oven and other good roasted stuff comes out of one side.

Too bad that the article is behind a pay wall, it sounds interesting.

I think you get 10 free articles a month, no?

The other day it wouldn't let me thru to read the article. However this evening I was able to get to the article without a problem. Not sure what the problem was since I hadn't been to their site in quite a while but anyway I got to the article today and it was very interesting. Thanks for the reminder about free articles or I wouldn't have tried again.

One can frequently access an article through a back door or third party if you Google the title of the article.     Depends on the popularity of the article but worth a try.

Often, simply clearing the cache will allow you entry.
