Breakfast at home today. Trader Joe's hot multigrain cereal made with half milk/half water, spoonful of peanut powder, dash of cinnamon and nutmeg, sliced banana.

Breakfast yesterday - a bit of a mashup...

I don't know what to call it. Potatoes, a little cheese, eggs.

So it's not a tortilla, per se, and it's not a frittata, per se.

Torttata?  Fritilla? I can see it now...

How about just “delicious” because it does look that way.

Nothing is better than frying in lard.

Nothing.  Do not quote me on this.

Made something other than poached eggs for breakfast today!

Low-carb Blueberry Scones (made with almond flour and coconut flour), eaten with just Devon Double Clotted Cream.

These were the first attempt. Next batch, I might reduce the almond flour and increase the amount of coconut flour to make the scones fluffier.

English muffin.  Half butter and half Smucker's Strawberry Jam.  I am trying to use up the jam really fast so that I can open  the lovely Tiptree Little Scarlet I got for Christmas.  English muffins are not safe around me.  I devour them.  Heaven help me if my dearest wish ever comes true: living in England, where I would have ready access to crumpets and tea cakes.

According to @nathanm and Co. English muffins are indeed English.  (Though, if so, I grant they may not exactly call them "English muffins".)

Disclaimer, I was once served an "American hamburger" in Britain, breaded and deep fried.
