Hobby Chocolatier Looking for Mentor - Phoenix Area

I've been corresponding with a hobby chocolatier in the Phoenix area who has been learning by trial and error and a good dose of Google and expressed an interest in spending some time with a local chocolatier in order to learn more. I'm guessing most shops might be hesitant to take in someone who they might view as potential competition going forward but I wonder if anyone has any suggestions? Perhaps even a situation where a couple of people, both anxious to learn, get together and support each other in their learning.

 

So - hive chocolatier mind - any ideas?

Dave Hardy isn't right there but might be an option - Black Mesa Ranch in Snowflake, AZ.
