See?  I told you!  LOL.  Seriously everything looks so, so good!  Just exactly my kind of meal.  And I love your Christmas tree platter that the cupcakes are on!

Yes you were so right about the frozen cookies.  I have a whole ton down there still....kind of nice to just bring up a few for us for a treat :) And thank you!  I love that platter, too.

@Shelby beautiful biscuits.  I love biscuits and gravy.  Not something commonly found on menus in Canada.  So I always have to make it myself.

Breakfast. Beef and Green Bean curry with rice and homemade chapati.

Started yesterday morning in the Breville PC intended for dinner. Saved instead for breakfast.

Just had to warm up the Basmati rice in the steam oven and make the Chapati

Thank you but you know that I am biscuit challenged--they are frozen Grands brand:$ I felt the need for full disclosure

Shelby,  I know, I always feel like I have to confess when I take a short cut.

Either way, the biscuits turned out great.

Finally made Moe a late breakfast or maybe an early lunch.

We both had a beef dip sandwich on the bread baked this morning.  And I roasted the potatoes in the Lodge cast iron pan.  The 10.25 size.   Using the Bake Steam setting.

Breakfast was a real eye opener, no fresh salsa (cilantro has been nonexistent for a week around here), no Crystal hot sauce (that spare bottle in the pantry must have been a mirage), but on a brighter note, Frank's RedHot pairs well with fried polenta!

Sous vide scrambled eggs with no additions other than some salt and lots of pepper. They may be healthy but they sure were boring!  And of course the texture was very different from the ones made using cream, milk and butter.

The last 2 slices out of the freezer of Pane Turano Italian Bread from Aldi. Both were first toasted and buttered. The larger one was topped with pan seared slices of corned beef tongue, a layer of sliced marinated mushrooms followed by a thin layer of fontina cheese and put back in the toaster, the smaller one was deprived of the corned beef. Both were very good!

Love it....though can I have mine with a hard scrambled egg, please?

Nothing is better than frying in lard.

Nothing.  Do not quote me on this.

I'm sorry but hard scrambled eggs are not allowed to be served with corned beef hash! You either have to have a soft poached egg or a sunny side up egg so you have a runny yolk that can seep down into the hash! :D
