Sweetie brought me a pound of these beans the other day, and I want to cook 'em up today.  It might help to know what they are, maybe even some characteristics.  Any help?  Thanks!

definitely agree with Jacob's Cattle beans which we used to grow out on the East end when I was young.  We would eat some when they were young but most we let dry and used to make soups with over the winter with some ham.........

Nothing is better than frying in lard.

For names, I was going to suggest Francis Scott, Rudyard, Pierre-Auguste, Giacomo, Nikolai, Pierre-Geoffreay, Oweyn, Filbert, Miles, Rauf, Geffron, and Denston.

 

But I see you have your own agenda.  So yeah, go with that.
