Flew back to China from Vietnam with Sichuan Airlines today. It's a 2 hour flight. Left Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at 2 pm.
Served this once we were at cruising height.
Again, not very pretty, but it was surprisingly tasty. Rice, greenery and a very tasty, well flavoured spicy lump of flaky fish.
Of course, being Sichuan Airlines, they had to pop on some chilli.
Bread roll with Anchor butter from NZ, yoghurt from Vietnam and a weird yellow custardy dessert which was lemon flavoured but about 2000 times too sweet for my taste.
Washed down.with a beer.
Not bad. Not great. Acceptable. Especially the fish.
