Turmeric's messin up my game! Food weirdness.

Ive been into Indian cooking for awhile, and use fresh turmeric.

Now that has messed up my fast food game. I cannot eat

French's yellow mustard without tasting the turmeric now.

 

Its like if I was to eat a hamburger dill pickle then cooked broccoli,

It's interesting.  I think in Western cooking turmeric is generally used only for color.  I don't know that I've ever really tasted it.

 

But if it can make broccoli taste like french fries, I think I'll have to look into it.

No, if I eat a hamburger dill then broccoli, it will taste like Ore Ida Crinkle cuts in my mouth
