Is there a concierge organization or association? Do you get to meet colleagues, other than in vacations? How do you exchange knowledge with colleagues, Is it important at all?

The concierge organization is called "Les Cles d'Or", which is the ultimate recognition for experience and a job well-done. They often have outings in area restaurants and bars, lounges,etc in an effort to get everyone together. They also organize national and international trips as well, where a portion of the trip is taken care of by the "Cles d'Or". This year (at this very moment) is the conference in Biarritz. Members from all over the world are participating...

Are you at the conference? Do you usually go every year? How many days is the conference? What happens at the conference? Are there panel discussions on different aspects of the work you do? Thanks in advance for your answers.

No, I'm not at the conference.. They last varying times, normally a few days... a lot of the discussions concern the internal politics and procedures of the organization, intermixed with cocktails and dinners..
