I just got America's Test kitchen Cooking School Cookbook from my library.

Its a hefty tome.

it looks like a decent book for a beginner. the format is clear, lots of how-to pics etc

i have not investigated the usefulness of the IDX which is often neglected in projects like this.

I have learned a lot from the PBS shows, but use the library for their books as Id rather not buy the same Rx 6 times over.

what this book needs in this day and age, is DVD supplementation.

Surprised they didnt think of this as they clearly experts at understand Over Marketing.
