Are we approaching this from etymology or pronunciation?     As in potato bread or garlic bread?

Potato-garlic bread?

I know, but explaining a joke always spoils it!

Not always. I think it adds an extra layer of funny knowing what the lunch is saying back.

A WOMAN in the US has become the laughing stock of the internet after revealing she has spent the past few days mistakenly washing her hands with a block of cheese, rather than a bar of soap.

Disclaimer: It was not me. I love cheese entirely too much to attempt to wash my hands with it. And I don't think I've ever been drunk enough to mistake cheese for soap.

I just thought it was a good spot to drop in my favorite Lewis Grizzard quote.

I had no idea one actually caught clams. I'm imagining a Discovery Channel series, "The Least Dangerous Catch."

Oh, and of course we have to be warned:

My son shared this last night, with a comment that he hears these terms in the voices of Pippin and Merry...

I loved the "pass the salt in times of social distancing" one. Yeah. I don't normally watch these things much but times have changed!
