Banh mi: your take on the pronunciation?

In Vietnam, the 'b' in bánh sounds more like /m/ and the 'ánh' like 'un' in southern Vietnam and 'ung' in the north. So it is like 'mun me' or 'mung me', depending on accent.

That said these are the Vietnamese pronunciations - there is nothing wrong with Anglicising them as 'ban me'.
