Jason Atherton's new resto Pollen Street Social

So Jason Atherton is opening his Pollen Street Social in London. It'll be right behind the Apple store on Regent Street, on, obviously, Pollen Street.

Sounds like he's trying to do something very different than what he became known for while working for Ramsay. Does anyone have details? Seems like the opening has been delayed to mid-April, although they're taking table reservations starting March 31...

No website or number yet; they're releasing it before the bookings go live.

According to his twitter feed, there's a soft opening for 8 days starting on 11 April

Booking is scheduled to open on March 31. Details are on Jason's website http://www.jasonatherton.co.uk/. I had a tour of the site on Feb. 24 and it is looking great.

He told me three weeks ago that he was expecting to open on 18 April - don't know if that has been moved since.

I'm an unashamed fan of Saturday Kitchen and today's episode features Jason Atherton cooking one of the dishes off the Pollen Street Social menu. Its here..

Also featuring is another top Michelin starred chef Michael Caines. So it should be good viewing.

I walked past Pollen Street Social on Saturday. The menu in the door was complete with prices. Starters are c. £10. Mains are just south of £30. Deserts are just below £10. Hope that helps!
