Frenchie in Paris

In my not-too-wonderful French, I called to make a reservation at Frenchie for lunch on a Saturday. I think I said "samedi," but the person at the other end of the ocean and phone may not have recognized that I was speaking French, and might have heard "Sunday." Or, he just might not have wanted another group of Americans.

Anyway, is Frenchie still open for lunch on Saturday? If not, any other suggestions for a pre-shopping lunch on the Right Bank for three femmes d'un cetain âge?

Merci!

They're closed sunday and monday all day and tuesday for lunch.

Anti-alcoholics are unfortunates in the grip of water, that terrible poison, so corrosive that out of all substances it has been chosen for washing and scouring, and a drop of water added to a clear liquid like Absinthe, muddles it." ALFRED JARRY
