Its said that the French will cross Paris to visit a particular bakery for a baguette.

It got me thinking, in the pursuit of the obscure or particular how far have people gone and what was the object of their mission?

and I guess was it worth it?

I will always make the journey from where ever I am in London to comptoir gascon for a mille fuille and a kugelhopf, then up to islington for amedi chocolate from Paul A. Young.

God, that's made me want some now! Shame I'm in Sheffield!!
