Stir up Sunday

Reminder tomorrow is Stir Up Sunday, traditionally the last day to make Xmas puds and cakes in order that they can mature for the holidays.

STIR UP, we beseech thee, O Lord, the wills of thy faithful people; that they, PLENTEOUSLY BRINGING FORTH THE FRUIT of good works, may of thee be plenteously rewarded; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Lovely! Thank you for the reminder about stir-up Sunday.

I'm a week late, since Thanksgiving is a week late, I usually do mine the day after while everyone else is out shopping.

I like to bake nice things. And then I eat them. Then I can bake some more.

LOL! Now that's an unusual interpretation. And we wonder why there's so many religions and denominations....

Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great. Orison Swett Marden
