Turkey math help

I have a 12 pound frozen turkey (giblet pack inside). How many middle aged adults will this serve? I will have at least 6 sides-(mashed potatoes, rutabaga, sweet potaoes, stuffing, green bean asserole and cranberries), pie and appetizers.

I always calculate 1 lb. raw turkey for each adult.

You can at least, at a min. serve 8 or 9 hungry adults. Especially with 6 diff sides. Include wine/beverages you should be more than fine.
