sichuan sauce

A chinese resturant called A&J does this sichuan dumpling in spicy sauce that is outstanding. I'm trying to make it at home and have been looking for a recipe. It is a hot spicy sauce (oily) and has a sweet finish. However, it is not a purely oiled based sauce.

Try this.

3 tablesppons of sweet soy sauce.

Add chilli oil to taste and a litte sesame oil.

Then, if you wish, add some crushed garlic mixed with some water.

It could be "Bang Bang" sauce.
