London with a three year old

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am going to London with my wife, mother in law and three year old son. We'll be staying in Bloomsbury. We'd very much appreciate any restaurant recommendations you might have for places that are interesting, of quality, and not too difficult to get to from Bloomsbury (Russell Sq) by tube, but at the same time casual enough to be appropriate for a three year old. Cuisine is not that important, we're pretty adventurous.

Appreciate any advice!

Thanks

Breakfast - head to Giraffe in the Brunswick centre by russel square tube, Ciao Bella on lambs conduit street is a cute little italian - not the best food ever but relaxed atmosphere, pianist in the evening and very enjoyable all the same. The Bleeding Heart tavern just off charterhouse street is also worth a look in as is Smiths of smithfields (on the ground floor) If you were feeling adventurous you could try St John or The Real Greek souvlaki bar which are on St John St near Smithfields too.

Relaxed and informal, there's Abeno which specialises in Okonomiyaki (a food often enjoyed by children - especially as it's cooked at the table)

If your budget is starting to pinch, not so far away is Icco Pizza
