Scotty's on 39th

When it rains, it pours.

Word that 40 Sardines had closed (today) was followed quickly by news that Scotty's on 39th (formerly Macaluso's) also closed.

Any confirmation out there on this?

Charles Ferruzza mentioned Scotty's on the radio - he would not have stated it as a fact if he didn't know for certain, being sensitive to the ill affects of death rumors.

Wow! Didn't it just open???

My partner and I walked by there just two weeks ago, looking for a place to eat. We opted for Aladdin's Cafe instead. We weren't really up for paying $25+ per person that night, especially at a place we hadn't heard anything about, good or bad.
