Never have seen this fruit before, so picked up a couple! Any ideas?

thinly sliced in a fruit salad...

It's such a delicate flavour, you have to be careful not to overpower it. I think I've only ever eaten it like that (raw, and on its own or mixed with other fruit)

Wash very well, chill in the fridge and then eat it raw, dipped in rock salt.
