Date Bread recipe needed

Hi All,

I'm looking for a date bread recipe from Martha Stewart Wedding book. Does anyone have the book?

I have a catering job coming up next month( I'm just doing the apps and desserts for a wedding). I was planning on a taragon chicken salad on date bread.

I've made this bread before( at a previous job) and the texture is very sturdy and its not that sweet. Its more like a bread than a cake.

I don't have that one, but if you google "Incredible Datenut Cake", the very first hit is on Cooks.com and it is fabulous. I usually serve it with an orange custard lightened with whipped cream. And the cake recipe doubles beautifully.

Hi,

Thanks, but I'm looking for one that is more like a bread rather than a cake. I need to serve tarragon chicken salad on top.

If you get stuck, you might be able to find the book at your local library.
