Hi I'm baking the props for a local theatre play. It's set in the 1950's and has a lot of cookies. I've looked thru some older cookbooks, the web, and spoken to some nursing home residents. The best memory is of a small cookie with orange peel, pecans, and nutmeg. None of the recipes I found are quite like this. While I can just create a cookie like this or use the shortbread buttercream the web turns up, I wondered if anyone here had ever heard of or had a recipe for the orange style one.
