Amish Food in Florida

This is interesting:

Amish from Douglas County find Warmth in Florida

And, Floridians can enjoy the food:

A few miles from Pinecraft, the hotel clerk's face brightens when asked for directions.

"Ah, Pinecraft! That's where the Amish live," he says, pronouncing Amish with a long "A," as in Amy. "They have great restaurants there. The Dutch Heritage seats 650. It's the largest one in town."

The three restaurants in Pinecraft certainly draw the crowds.

Yoder's Amish Restaurant, Troyer's Dutch Heritage and Mom's Country Cafe offer the hearty fare of real mashed potatoes, noodles, fried chicken and all imaginable varieties of fruit and cream pies.

At Troyer's, the restaurant partitions its dining room to make a coffee shop, which draws hundreds of Amish men in the mornings. Its large breakfast buffet offers tomato gravy, a uniquely Amish favorite for saucing up scrambled eggs and hash browns.
