Dear SLB, that is horrible!!!
I would investigate if there was some way of jury-rigging a fix or even exploring if a competitor's assembly could be used or made to work.
That's like getting a flat tire and having to throw away the car because they don't make that tire any more.

Air frying is basically fast moving hot air in usually a small space - convection oven isn't necessarily as fast and the space is relatively larger

Not a recall per se, but a heads up

A review and comparison of the Ankarsrum and KitchenAid Pro 600
I'll still stick with my KitchenAid, though the Ankarsrum's 7 year warranty and Amazon's 4 year add-on warranty for $126 CDN is attractive

It's available at Amazon.ca for $1685.94 and a deluxe accessory pack is $1684.75 - both prices are in CDN$
I think I'll hang on to my KitchenAid a little longer - though I do like the available blue colour.

Just toss the above pictured product as is (on the pan) in the freezer for an hour or so - works for berries and such - avoids a frozen clump of berries

And a backup as well!

Not that you would, but you can put a new plug on your old machine.

Relatedly, we received a memorandum at work that gas leakage was normal, and not to be concerned about the smell.
Told you so!

What does Shizuo Tsuji use at home to cook rice?

Anna, whatever their reasoning or explanations, they make a damn fine rice cooker.

IMy guess is that less than 1% of people in Japan are cooking rice in cast iron
The rest probably have a Zojirushi 😀

This part is all the "journalist's" doing. A contrived anecdote passed off as proof. Ridiculous non-logic...cough and nosebleeds progressing to breast cancer. Conscious or not, the writer is a believer and wants gas stoves to be banned and has a fundamental bias.
Agreed, but the study is real - personally I would not be concerned

They suggest using it in the BSOA, I wonder about grease run-off

but that included installation of a new 18-amp circuit to safely accommodate a power-sucking toaster oven, as well as adding a new outlet to an existing circuit and rewiring another.
18 amp circuit? That's a really oddball number, usually you have 15 amp, 20 amp (std for kitchen) or 30 amp maybe

I prefer a "white white" (6000k) as opposed to warm white (3000k) as far as color goes, it appears brighter

I wonder if this could be used indoors as an electric grill without the "smoking" effect, i.e. no pellets?
