I'm amazed at how few condiments you have, but as you say you've been eating a lot of takeout
Re - bars on windows - safety - decoration?
A lot of NYC kitchens would be considered closets in some parts of the world - it's easy to criticize cultures we are not familiar with

If you swipe too high up on those jeans, and the knife slips, you may end up really noticing the difference.

I have one of the Breville toaster ovens with air fry mode, and while I like using that, it's not all that quick or powerful at air-frying vs. convection mode.
The problem with the Breville (I have one too) is that it is too big - an air fryer's advantage is its small capacity - the Breville has many strong points but air frying isn't one of them

A little tooth gets the job done. A worn, coarse (e.g., 80 grit) belt does a surprisingly good job--if you can hear a hiss on the belt, that's all the pressure needed.
or a pair of jeans - I can notice the difference

Basically it's efficiency - want to cook a whole large turkey, then a full-size oven is the right choice, if you're cooking for one to three people than an air fryer is the better choice
An air fryer is a compact convection oven, that requires little time to preheat and cooks rapidly due to its small size
Suggest (if you're in the market) - stay away from the "oven" style as they have cooking probems (heat circulation) and cleanup is a pain - google some air fryer recipes you would use and see how they stack up against your full-size oven
Instant brand has received good marks

Sort of like at the airport when something embarrassing and "unmentionable" goes off in your luggage
I too have ordered one - thanks for updating us especially with regards to the smoothness and safety of both the can and the removed lid

Looks like mineral calcification
Had you been using distilled water?
That's what the APO recommends

A question - the lid of the can doesn't have a sharp edge, but what about the can itself?

Makes sense. I had one of their basic toaster ovens and liked it.
Am I being ignorant for not considering a steam toaster oven, given I have an air fryer? I’m cooking for one.
I have an air fryer, a Breville smart oven and an APO (steam oven) - I use them all depending on my desied end result - the air fryer probably gets the most use due to its speed and efficiency
I too cook for one

Just follow the same procedure you used to squish the bread the first time, but lower the vac time and yes you want to seal it

Being one of the friends, I would have to agree 😀

What you want to do is reduce the level of vacuum - lower the vac level (time) to about 15 seconds - not familiar with your machine, so that's a guess
If you want to be sure, follow Kerry's suggestion - freeze it, then vac

If it's new you might try seller or manufacturer

Both machines work well - I use the smaller one (1 lb loaf) when I don't foresee the need for much bread - the larger one (2 lb loaf) does when I expect a lot of sandwiches
I asked if someone had found one that was an unexpected improvement on either of those machines - they both have drawbacks (hard to read LCD panel on both) but both are very servable

Another EDIT! of my original post
My bread machines are BOTH Zojirushis - the one I miss identified as a Breville was in fact the Home Bakery Virtuoso® Breadmaker BB-PAC20
Next time I'll put a little more thought into my words 😒
