  1. Jim - I don't know where in S. Jersey you are, but Riverside has a very large Brazilian contingent and therefore are starting to open Brazilian/Portugese restaurants. Hope that helps. David
  2. Ate at Maoz on Memorial Day - rainy holiday, figured the area would be empty and it was - able to park two storefronts away. No complaints about the food. The falafel were excellent (even if they want to call them Maoz), the tahina sauce good and the homemade pita earned some extra points. The order of chips was huge - enough for two people. My concern is their set-up. When you walk in, the salad bar to top off your falafel, and the line to order are in the same spot. Even on an empty day, it seemed inefficient. I can't even imagine it working on a busy lunch hour. Hopefully they will rearrange things, because I would definately go again if in the South ST. area.
  3. Sara - you and your friends must have hearty appetites if 5 people were able to reach $75. My wife and I ususally don't even hit $25 BTW - you can take out from there as well. Did you enjoy the cans of mexican juice nectors with your food? David
  4. I love Mexico Lindo and thought Craig Leban's article might be the worst thing that could happen. It is an authentic family run restaurant. The tacos are the best I have had. The super burrito is enough for two people. The drawback is the location. We tend to eat there more in the summer, for the simple reason that it stays light later. I have never been concerned in the area for my own safety, but for my car - yes. Park in the empty lot diagonally across from the restaurant . BTW - check out Lynn's bakery across the street - great cream filled donuts.
  5. brand new to boards - so this reply is a little late, but I would say that the Wegman's in Princeton, NJ is the closest. Is on Route 1 And if you don't want to eat lunch at the food court (why wouldn't you) - you can always stop at Mastori's diner - only about 10 minutes away.
