It's my mum's 70th in January and I'd appreciate some recommendations for a good seafood restaurant near Manchester. I'm happy to travel within say a 150 mile round-trip radius for the right place. Lobster as part of a tasting menu or a la carte would be perfect. We can stay overnight and don't need to dine on a Friday or Saturday night. Thanks in advance.

An old thread but I live in hope of an answer... Any news on when R&L will open a new place? I have fond memories of a 100 mile round trip for the tasting menu. I'd just like to know when they are back in the restaurant trade and to make a pilgrimage to their new place when it opens.
