  1. Hello Guys Hope you are fine. Is there anyone who does not love Indian or Desi food ? I am so sure that the answer from most of you would be no because we all love Indian and Desi Food. I have started this thread for all Indian and Desi Food lovers around the world. You will find lots of delicious Indian and Desi recipes in this thread. Pav Bhaji Preparation and cook time: 30 Minutes Serves: 2-4 Persons Ingredients: Potatoes - 2 (cubed) Mixed Vegetables - about 2 cups (You can use whatever vegetables that you have on hand. The vegetables may include carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, beetroot, brinjal, capsicum, zucchini, beans etc.) Green Peas 1/4 cup Onion 1 (chopped) Tomatoes 3 or 4 (crushed) Green Chillies 2 Ginger garlic paste 1 tea spoon Pav Bhaji Masala 2 table spoon Lemon Juice 1 table spoon Butter 3-4 table spoon Cilantro for garnish Onion 1/2 (chopped for garnish) Lemon Wedges for garnish Method: Take a large pan, add onions, potatoes, mixed vegetables, green peas, green chilies, about 1/2 cup water and salt. Cover the pan and cook on low flame till tender then mash the vegetable mixture with a wooden spoon. Heat the butter in a flat wide pan and add the ginger garlic paste to it. Add the tomatoes and let it cook for 8-10 minutes. Add the pav bhaji masala, the mashed up vegetables and the lemon juice. Let it cook till it becomes very thick gravy. Garnish with chopped onions, lemon wedges, a blob of butter or cilantro. Serve piping hot with toasted pav buns, burger buns, hot dog buns or white bread.
