Hey all- I'm having a problem with my new sideKIC it worked well for the first several hours but now the temperature reading is skipping around erratically so I don't know what the actual water temp is. I tested it with a thermometer and it seems to be holding now, but that might be the residual heat. The water is still circulating but I can't tell if the heating unit has stopped. Of course this means that I'm a bit afraid to leave it unattended with my passover dinner in it. Has anyone had this problem or have a quick fix? Thanks!
  2. Sorry one more question- at the moment I'm putting the SideKIC on a pot BUT does anyone have a cooler that they're using with it that fits the size well?
  3. Hi all. This is my first post. I just bought a SideKIC after reading about it here and am ready to try my first test. Does anyone have suggestions for time/temp for a breast of lamb. I was thinking of boning it and maybe even gluing it together to get a thicker piece of meat before cooking. Thanks!
