I just bought a piece of steel off eBay for £15, there's plenty of fabrication guys on there who'll happily cut you a piece to size (which allows you to choose the dimensions you want.) When it turns up, give it a really good wash and season, then you're good to go!

Tried the Pork Adobo this evening (after all the comments on here about it) delicious and super easy. I served it with some simple Pak Choi and Shiitake mushrooms. Yuuuuuum! This would make an amazing baguette filling with a bit of spring onion...

For my first attempt with the book I went with the Caramelised Carrot Soup - very nice, but as others have said it's pretty rich! I'll definitely serve it in something small like ramekins next time! Sorry about the presentation - this was course three of a busy dinner party!
