  1. Hello @PetarG. Most interesting post. Perhaps @Duvel or @AlaMoi or @Kerry Beal can help? Looking forward to following your quest! Welcome.
  2. Hello @Tanz, welcome to eGullet. Hope you like this place! Sorry, I have no answers for this question though.
  3. @aliénor, it's funny in retrospect but I bet it was upsetting at the time. 🙁
  4. Do you suppose there is any difference in the behaviour of the pump mechanism whether the contents are liquid soap or soap foam?
  5. How does one clean this device? (BBQ sauce drips?) I have an Anova Oven which does NOT have any self-clean option which I think is a REAL DRAWBACK.
  6. Thanks again, @BonVivant, for your enticing journeys. Many years ago, in Switzerland, there was honey from pine trees. At the time, I thought it was very piney. Curiously I have yearned for that pine honey ever since. I hope you enjoyed your piney wine.
  7. Thanks, @lindag. How long have you used the same pump(s) ?
  8. I have purchased some surprisingly pricey empty plastic bottles with a "reusuable" pump only to discover (again and again) that the pump fails. (e.g. look here). These bottles are filled with foaming soap made in my blender (4:1 unscented dish soap and water). The pump fails after the first bottle of soap foam. Has anyone discovered a reliable soap dispenser? TIA.
  9. I have TWO flour canisters with broken off corners!
  10. I'd definitely like to see it. Hope you will report back!
  11. Wow, @BonVivant ! I don't like heights and just LOOKING at your photos was enough to make my knees shaky. 🫣 Am full of admiration for you and partner for PERSISTING with that hike. Ooh la la, I'm going to have to lie down and REST. Bet the wine was really tasty!
  12. @ElsieD. I did call Zojirushi, but it was some time ago. It wasn't a satisfactory exchange. I could ship the whole machine to them for repair/replacement of parts. Seems expensive AND I would be without a bread machine for a while. Haven't felt sufficiently motivated.
  13. No, but I haven't tried. I just make bread with paddles in it. 😝
  14. Welcome @C00kman. This is a great place! I have noticed that if I go out to a super restaurant, it's the vegetables which taste the best.
  15. @Kerala, 'tis an impressive spread! Could you say a bit more about how these chicken livers were prepared? And describe the final dish too, please?
  16. Now that you mention it, I remember that delicious flan in Spain!
  17. Thanks for the wonderful travelogue, @BonVivant. Happy New Year to you and partner!
  18. The article I found on internet said 375F for 10 minutes, which burnt some to a crisp. I then did 4 minutes at 300F with 10% steam which produced a much better result on another bunch. Thanks, @pastrygirl.
  19. Unable to find my notes about "refreshing" stale crackers in the oven. Suggestions?
  20. Thanks, @Katie Meadow. @weinoo convinced me to get a Moulinex. Don't know why I don't use it more . . . guess I keep thinking there will be a really, really sharp grater that will be easier to handle. 🫢
  21. My hands are the problem; I need a superior grating ability (with many shapes unworkable). And I have busted a couple workbowls for the Cuisinart trying to chop up cheese. No workable solutions at present. Ideas welcome.
  22. What do you think of this, @rotuts ? Microplane at $70
  23. @dans, please post your results. I, for one, am really curious!
