@aliénor, it's funny in retrospect but I bet it was upsetting at the time. 🙁

Do you suppose there is any difference in the behaviour of the pump mechanism whether the contents are liquid soap or soap foam?
-
How does one clean this device? (BBQ sauce drips?) I have an Anova Oven which does NOT have any self-clean option which I think is a REAL DRAWBACK.

The Other Spain: Mucho Volcanes, Mucho Sol (and Papas Arrugadas!)

Thanks again, @BonVivant, for your enticing journeys. Many years ago, in Switzerland, there was honey from pine trees. At the time, I thought it was very piney. Curiously I have yearned for that pine honey ever since. I hope you enjoyed your piney wine. -
Thanks, @lindag. How long have you used the same pump(s) ?

I have purchased some surprisingly pricey empty plastic bottles with a "reusuable" pump only to discover (again and again) that the pump fails. (e.g. look here). These bottles are filled with foaming soap made in my blender (4:1 unscented dish soap and water). The pump fails after the first bottle of soap foam. Has anyone discovered a reliable soap dispenser? TIA.

Wow, @BonVivant ! I don't like heights and just LOOKING at your photos was enough to make my knees shaky. 🫣 Am full of admiration for you and partner for PERSISTING with that hike. Ooh la la, I'm going to have to lie down and REST. Bet the wine was really tasty! -
@gulfporter, why is the cartoon funny?

@ElsieD. I did call Zojirushi, but it was some time ago. It wasn't a satisfactory exchange. I could ship the whole machine to them for repair/replacement of parts. Seems expensive AND I would be without a bread machine for a while. Haven't felt sufficiently motivated.

No, but I haven't tried. I just make bread with paddles in it. 😝

Hi I am learning to cook so I can make vegetables taste good

Welcome @C00kman. This is a great place! I have noticed that if I go out to a super restaurant, it's the vegetables which taste the best. -
@Kerala, 'tis an impressive spread! Could you say a bit more about how these chicken livers were prepared? And describe the final dish too, please?

Absurdly, stupidly basic cooking questions (Part 2)
TdeV replied to a topic in Food Traditions & Culture
The article I found on internet said 375F for 10 minutes, which burnt some to a crisp. I then did 4 minutes at 300F with 10% steam which produced a much better result on another bunch. Thanks, @pastrygirl. -

Unable to find my notes about "refreshing" stale crackers in the oven. Suggestions? -
Thanks, @Katie Meadow. @weinoo convinced me to get a Moulinex. Don't know why I don't use it more . . . guess I keep thinking there will be a really, really sharp grater that will be easier to handle. 🫢
-
My hands are the problem; I need a superior grating ability (with many shapes unworkable). And I have busted a couple workbowls for the Cuisinart trying to chop up cheese. No workable solutions at present. Ideas welcome.

What do you think of this, @rotuts ? Microplane at $70

@dans, please post your results. I, for one, am really curious!
