  1. Hi guys!

As you already know that i am an amateur in cooking and because of that, i like to experiment with various combinations. So, this time i tried with cooked red beans with bacon, little bit of green pepper and garlic. I does not look fancy though but it has a pretty nice taste :)

  2. Rod: there was a sauce, but it's quite light. Consists of white wine, olive oil, some of the fond from frying the scallops and a tablespoon of ramp pesto. In addition, I undercooked the pasta by 1-2 minutes, then drained it, then finished cooking it in the pan with the sauce. That's probably the reason there's no visible sauce, but you'll have to believe me when I say that it wasn't the least bit dry.

Wow, this sounds fantastic! I also think this was good tactic. I'd ask myself "hmm what gives such a nice flavor"

  3. @Soba, nice spaghetti. I like the idea of being served without any sauce!

Here is my salad again, i'm trying various combos to catch a right one. This is not final and this time I added olive oil but i forgot to take another pic (was very hungry).

  4. rod rock, thanks!

Any chili sauce of your liking will be fine, really, except maybe the "really overpowering ones" (hot-for-the-sake-of-hotness types).  The combined sauces here already had chili sauce in it but if I were to have some extra sauce I'd go for a slightly sweet-sour-one - maybe some Lingham's mixed with some lime juice.  That is a common combination I use, in fact.

Hmmm that sounds very interesting, thanks for suggestion, i appreciate it!

  5. Huiray, this is perfect breakfast if you ask me (part 1). Such a perfect combo! What sauce do you recommend? Do you think that the mild chili sauce goes with this?

    Thanks!

  6. Hi guys. It's me again with my Salad.

This time i added more ingredients such as fresh tomato and radishes. There is also a corn, rice, olives, onion and tuna fish. Might seem to have too much of ingredients, but it tastes really good.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know! Thanks! :)
