That looks really great! I read the thread from the start.

Wow and it is worldwide. That's horrible.

whoops, missed that post. A couple more things to try

Sapin sapin is a very famous delicacy here in my part of the world. It is one of my favorite.

Had this for dinner the other night. My bestfriend cooked it.
Crispy Pork Sisig

Never tried it yet. I think KFC offers different menu to other countries. So if it will be offered in the US, I am not sure it will be available worldwide.

If you try to Google, "Kutsinta" you will see an image of an orange brownish food that looks similar to that.

It sounds great according to the replies and I want to see the photos as well, but it seems like I can't see the pictures. It returns an error page. Hope I am not out of topic, but I wish I could see them too. Thanks!

That looks very interesting! I wonder what kind of delicacy is that. We had some of those that looks similar to that here in Manila but I'm not sure if it is really what it is.

Wow! I love bacon and egg! I made this yesterday for my breakfast:
Spicy Stir-fry Pancit Canton with Tuna

I also like to have appliances or a kitchen with stainless all over. As for now, I can't see any big disadvantage of having it aside from those reasons that it is not magnetic and hard to clean. I guess I have to see it for myself as well.
-
Hoping to try this out as well. Probably a glass jar will do then.

Those shrimps and mushrooms made me drool! Such an awesome photos!
-
I haven't tried it yet, but no harm to give it a try.

Yummy photos. I am not a big fan of oil so i think I won't add too much.

You're not supposed to use soap on cast iron but you're meant to at least run water over it and scrub any food off it. I find grill pans more trouble than they're worth generally from a cleaning perspective. Any sugars in your food will drip into the grooves, get heated to carbonization temperature and form an almost immovable plaque in the grills which smoke out the house the next time you use it.
I clean mine every time I use it. I make sure I remove any food off of it. I don't often use it so it's not a big deal to clean every time I use it.

I must agree with Mac n Cheese! I love making that one as well!

Wonderful tips. I love to try this out! Hope I can get some ingredients in the market soon!

It has to be BLACK. It has to be HOT. And it has to be in my hand within 3 minutes of waking up. After that I can get very fussy.
I love doing this one! I am also not a fan of hot coffee at coffee shops in to-go mugs(those paper cup things). I want it in a mug. It has to be in a real mug.

Potato Chips sounds great!

As always, stunning photos and recipe! I'll post some soon.

I didn't do this, but an old roommate of mine did: he was cooking bacon in a fry pan and used a plastic fork to stir and move the bacon around in the hot grease ....
I did that too. And I was too tired back then that I didn't realized I am holding a plastic kitchen utensil. I never did that again.

You'll never guess what this is?
Fried Calamari? Hope I got it right? Anyway, that looks great!

I called QualityMatters.com to order my VP112 and they have a $15 off coupon code for Egullet members - It's EG-VP112. I don't know if they ship to Canada, though.
