Although I've never used it, I love the fact that our dishwasher has a special Raclette cycle. And I hate that we generate far too many dirty dishes to fit in our dishwasher every day.

Everything in Switzerland is more expensive, e.g. My swiss made chamber vacuum sealer was cheaper to buy from Germany. And if its not expensive you can't get it, e.g. Glucose syrup and egg white powder.

Having just read Modernist Cuisine volume 1 I think the main drivers for artificial food will be to grow and print food in environments that ensure the lowest possibility of contamination and disease. Sort of like the food equivalent of the Demolition Man virtual reality reproduction scene. BTW I'm a little embarrassed that I have seen that film...

Banana, Blueberry, Kiwifruit or Strawberry, Walnuts, Vanilla, Natural Yoghurt and a small amout of water for a drinkable texture.

I'm on holiday and my books are supposedly waiting for me at home in Zürich, UPS let my neighbours sign for them and left them at the "Front Desk" wherever that is. Gotta love the honesty/trust of the Swiss...
