Pretty but I'd dash on some acid like balsamic when warm or even one of the molasses things like date, saba or pomagranate and depending on acidity candy the pecans lightly. Blood oranges - beautiful but not so acidic. When I had a prolific grapefruit tree I'd add just a bit for a bitter element. Cracked black pepper and chile of some sort to round it out. Have fun.

It’s got red wine vinegar in the dressing, along with pepper. I was looking at the chile flakes when I was making it. I was leaning toward pistachios instead but tried the original recipe. My mom suggested bacon.  Probably would help. It has raw shallot, and I thought they were too harsh, so I would think roast them with the sprouts.

  3. Pizza night. Pepperoni, Olive, red onion and a little Gouda. After all the tornado watches and warnings yesterday, it was bright and sunny today. Crazy Georgia weather.

  4. Craving a burger. Schweid & Sons makes a brisket/Chuck burger that is great. We watch for Kroger to mark then down then stock up the freezer. $3.99/4 patties is much better than $10.99 👍🏻.

Brioche bun, provolone, herb aioli, lettuce and caramelized onions.

The artichoke raw is so perfect it almost looks fake!  When grill is going I also like to grill lemmon to add another dimension.

I know, I was surprised that Walmart had such nice ones. I never go there so was just lucky I found them. They were tasty too. It was 80F here today, so wanted to fire up the grill.

King Oyster Mushroom “pulled pork” sandwich, slaw and brioche bun.  Wasn’t bad, texture was a little on the slimy side like mushrooms are. Tried it since my mother is not into meat as much. Could use a little liquid smoke maybe.

Thanks, I’ve never cooked them before. I was really surprised that I found them in Atlanta.

  8. Two dozen organic brown eggs at Costco was still $7.59 yesterday. I haven't seen any egg issues here, and I've wondered if it's because there's a lot of chicken houses in Georgia. Kroger is sometimes low, but all the other stores are stocked.
